MEASURING

Measuring for a Tartan kilt is easy. Wrap a tape around your waist. Take that number AND SUBTRACT 2"! This video tutorial is safe for work: https://vimeo.com/229831637

NOTE: Whatever you measure your waist at, subtract 2" from that number for the correct measurement. (e.g. If you measure at 38, you want to order a 36 kilt.)

If you do not see the size you want, click the "CUSTOM" button and give us your custom measurements. Your order will be custom built and may take 4-6 weeks.

Orders go to the production team every Sunday morning. Orders placed mid-week will be sent on the following Sunday.

Kilt size and waist size are two different things. To Measure:
1) Strip Naked

2) Wrap a tape measure around your waist where you will wear your kilt. Some guys like it down around the pants line, some up around their waist. You decide what's going to work best for you.
3) Without sucking it in, write down your waist. Don't cry, Betty, it's only a number. For a tartan kilt, SUBTRACT 2" from that number!
4) Measure the "drop" or length: Get on your knees. Put the bottom of the tape measure at the floor by your knees. Measure up to where you want the kilt to ride (on your waist or on your belly.) Don't bend over to read the number, put your finger on the tape, then lift up. That number is your "Drop".

KILT LENGTH: All kilts are 23" by default. This falls at the knee for the average 5'10 - 6'2 man. If you need a different length, talk to us, or include it in your custom order.

NOTE: Customer is responsible for shipping charges for kilts being exchanged for a different size. Measure twice.
